Founded in 1972, Macurco is manufactured by Aerion Technologies, a subsidary of 3M.
The initial thrust of the company was to design and manufacture a high quality, reasonably priced smoke and gas detector. Today, Macurco has expanded into the commercial, light industrial, and residential markets for gas detection.
Macurco’s products are manufactured to strict quality standards. All products are individually tested and calibrated with certified calibration gas. All of the units contain circuitry that monitors for proper operation of the unit. If the circuitry detects a failure, the unit goes into an alarm condition or activates a trouble circuit.
