Flair Electronics

A flair for invention led to the founding of this company 40 years ago. Flair Electronics was founded in 1967 by Harlan Tripp and Al Takcas, two electrical engineers with a knack for making their own equipment and innovative products. Flair started by making and selling reed switches in furnaces designed and built by Harlan and Al. When customers in the security industry asked for door and window sensors, they began to build Magnetic Contacts. Other innovations included High Security Balanced Magnetic Contacts and Multi-Zone Annunciators.
