Excelsus Technologies
The Excelsus® patented alarm panel DSL filter is designed specifically for the security industry. The unique filter protects the residential and small business alarm system POTS interface, which dials out to the alarm company in the event of an emergency. The alarm filter blocks DSL signals from interfering with the alarm system’s voice-band modem. The filter supports the alarm panel’s line-seizure and cut-line protection, without disrupting DSL. Without this protection, alarm panels on telephone lines with DSL may have difficulty reporting incidents and line seizure may not work properly. Excelsus is a brand owned by Pulse.
